Sunon Global Summit 2026: Leading the Era of Intelligent Workspaces | Sunon Furniture

At the Sunon Global Summit 2026 in Hangzhou, over 40 countries came together to explore the future of office spaces. Guests were greeted not by brochures or slides, but by AI-powered robots guiding them through an interactive showroom – a tangible demonstration of Sunon’s vision for intelligent, adaptive workspaces.

The showroom experience offered more than a glimpse of advanced technology; it set the stage for the afternoon sharing sessions, where Sunon’s experts and global partners delved into the broader evolution of workplaces. Azim Rahman, Sunon R&D Center’s Chief Technology Officer, highlighted how office design has shifted from the efficiency-driven Industrial Era, through the flexibility-focused Digital Era, to today’s Intelligent Era, where experience and adaptability define success. He emphasized that modern offices are no longer just desks, chairs, and meeting rooms – they are integrated ecosystems combining products, space, technology, data, and sustainability.

Building on this vision, Cindy Shi, Managing Director of Sunon International Business Division, presented the company’s strategic upgrade: transforming from a complete space solution provider to an intelligent space solution provider. Addressing the “4S” pain points – Stuck, Slow, Stress, and Shabby – Sunon showcased smart, end-to-end solutions, including an automated smart factory, AI-powered quality inspections, and a full digital twin production system. These innovations allow large-scale orders to be delivered efficiently while ensuring consistent quality and reducing time-to-market.

The summit also gave participants a chance to see Sunon’s intelligent ecosystem in action. From interactive robots and smart design systems to global design centers in China, Germany and the U.S., guests observed how technology and local expertise combine to create seamless, human-centered workspaces. Talent programs and global project managers ensure that these solutions are practical, responsive, and adaptable to regional needs.

Reflecting on the summit, Cindy concluded, “Technology enhances human capability, but without people, even the smartest systems cannot succeed. Sunon invites partners, designers, and clients to co-create adaptive, sustainable, and inspiring workplaces, proving that the future of office is already here.”

With its intelligent solutions, global talent network, and immersive experiences, Sunon is shaping the Intelligent Era for workplaces worldwide, inviting collaborators to join in creating offices that are not only efficient but also truly adaptive and engaging.
