On February 2nd, 2018, the first overseas new product launch event of Sunon was held in Bangalore, the technology hub of India. The theme of the launch was “Modern Office”, which showed Sunon’s ambition to offer first-class office space solutions and always stand at the cutting edge of fashion.
The gorgeous settings and glitzy catwalk show made people feel like they were in a fashion or electronic product launch. More than 200 senior designers and business partners from Global 500 companies joined this fashion feast and witnessed this exciting moment.
From Internationalization to Localization
Good products speak louder than words. Sunon Office Furniture started overseas expansion at an early stage and the first few years of experience laid a solid foundation for Sunon to dig deeper into key markets.
At the new product launch in Bangalore, Sunon announced its plans to establish a local company to facilitate its localization. Chai Weilong, general manager of the Sunon Branding Center, said that localized operation was an important strategy for Sunon’s overseas expansion, and this launch event reflected Sunon’s determination to dive deeper into the international market.
Sunon entered the Indian market as early as 2006 and offered workplace solutions for an array of global companies like Google, Siemens, Ford, Bayer, Coca-Cola, and so on. Shi Yinjiao, general manager of the International Marketing Division of Sunon, said: “Sunon aims at providing comprehensive and professional workplace solutions for our clients (including the world’s top 500 companies). We always maintain a high standard from design, production, to service.”
Innovation Leads Office Furniture Trends
For a long time, Sunon has stuck to an innovative development strategy and has pooled together pioneering design forces from Italy, Germany, Japan, Spain as well as advanced technologies.
Mugi Yamamoto, a Switzerland designer from ITO, shared with us his plan to co-design a product with Sunon and revealed that there will be more health-positive products to be developed by both parties. Besides, an innovative design center located in Berlin, Germany is also on Sunon’s agenda.
The three new products released at this launch event are a reflection of Sunon’s strong innovative design capabilities as Varna brings artistic beauty to the modern office, the Hyle series stresses neighborhood concept at the office, and Aulenti is at an intersection of beauty and strength.
