Mat

Mat is designed for workplaces and shared environments where one chair may serve more than one purpose. It is positioned as a versatile side chair and meeting chair for social areas and collaborative spaces. Its generously widened seat accommodates diverse body types and sitting styles, while the back legs tilt backward at a precise 35° angle to enhance stability and help prevent wall contact. Mat also offers models with or without armrests, features 360° swivel wheels, stacks securely without collapsing, and uses hidden hardware beneath the backrest for a clean, polished appearance. A curated palette and surface materials including Linen Fabric and Plastic broaden its fit across different settings.

Room for natural sitting styles
In a shared meeting room or social area, people rarely use a chair in exactly the same posture. Some lean back during conversation, while others shift position as discussions continue. Mat is designed with a wider seat to accommodate diverse body types and sitting styles, from reclining to curling up. That makes the chair easier to place in spaces where different users rotate through the same seat over the course of a day. As a side chair and meeting chair, it supports interaction while giving people a more spacious place to settle in during both quick exchanges and longer sessions.
Flexible seating for mixed-use rooms
A room used for informal conversation can also need to support a more structured meeting later in the day. Mat is positioned as both a side chair and a meeting chair, which helps it suit that kind of mixed use. It is available in models with or without armrests, and it features 360° swivel wheels for easier engagement in face-to-face conversation or movement around a space. For planners furnishing collaborative areas, those options make it easier to choose a version that matches how people gather, turn, and interact rather than forcing one fixed seating approach across every setting.
Stackable design with a cleaner look
In public or multi-use spaces, chairs need to be manageable when the layout changes and still look considered when the room is in use. Mat stacks securely without collapsing, which supports storage when chairs need to be cleared or regrouped. Beneath the backrest, the hidden hardware design helps maintain a clean, polished appearance. Mat also comes in a curated palette to complement different settings. Together, those details make the chair easier to specify for spaces that need practical handling without giving up a tidy visual impression in everyday use.
