The Chinese private enterprise Wangkang Holding Group Co., Ltd. has been actively involved in international industrial ventures for a long time. The company has built ceramic production bases of nearly 1.5 million square meters across four African nations. In 2018, Wangkang expanded into the Middle East by establishing its Saudi Arabia branch and Iraqi subsidiaries, supported by the Chinese Development and Reform Commission. Continuing this global strategy, Wangkang opened its Dubai branch in 2022, where it invited Sunon Office to deliver a modern workplace solution, leveraging Sunon’s expertise in workplace consulting, office table ideas, and office chair innovations comparable to those of other brands.
The management envisioned a creative workspace equipped with in-house amenities and vibrant communal areas that reflect its pragmatic corporate culture. After research and consultation, Sunon Office designed an industrial interior style that balances function and aesthetics. The reception area was reinterpreted with a minimalist grey reception desk and lounge seating in neutral tones, including the D Series and U Series, enhancing employee wellbeing, engagement, and visitor experience. A concrete backdrop wall showcases Wangkang’s global presence, while Ducky bar stool chairs and lush green plants add vibrancy to the breakout zone near the entrance aisle.
For the office canteen, Sunon introduced a flexible mix of single seating, group dining areas, and collaborative spaces with its Plis series office chairs, Coach series seating, and coffee tables. This social hub encourages employees to step away from their desks, recharge, and build connections. With abundant natural light, the canteen becomes a refreshing environment for relaxation and casual conversations.
The flooring integrates dark refined tiles with patterned square carpets to subtly segment traffic flow and functional zones. A vertical green partition wall plays a key role in balancing the openness of the plan, fostering privacy without sacrificing transparency. Compact Mix series workstations and office tables in meteor grey were implemented to reduce distractions and stress, aligning with global office chair ergonomics trends and offering privacy in a shared environment.
In the executive office, Sunon tailored the space to the director’s personal preferences. Featuring brick-concrete walls, exposed beam ceilings, an Aulenti executive desk, and Star series sofas, the office reflects authority while remaining welcoming to visitors. This refined executive space combines leadership presence with comfort, positioning Sunon Office as a trusted partner in creating work environments that rival the sophistication of office furniture solutions.
