Established in 2003, Shenzhen College of International Education (SCIE) is a full-time international high school accredited by the Cambridge Institute of Examinations (CIE), Council of International Schools (CIS), Edexcel National Qualifications, and the College Board for the AP program. SCIE offers a global learning environment for students seeking academic excellence and holistic development.
The campus is divided into north and south buildings, connected by an air corridor. Surrounded by greenery and featuring a biophilic façade, the architecture integrates nature into an urban setting. Modern facilities include an underground gymnasium, overhead football field, open-plan art classrooms, and diverse cultural spaces, promoting active learning and student engagement.
Classrooms and common areas emphasize inclusiveness and flexibility. The playful Ducky Chair, inspired by Disney’s Donald Duck, adds a colorful, informal touch, while the Flower Series Sofa, reminiscent of Tetris, allows students to personalize their seating arrangement. Open-plan layouts encourage free communication and collaboration.
Teachers’ offices are equipped with functional Lipa desks and M cabinets, enabling efficient preparation, paperwork, and student interaction. The two-floor Mushan Canteen spans 1,500㎡ and seats up to 700, featuring modern café tables and vibrant chairs for a welcoming atmosphere. The Zhaohui Theater, with Sunon auditorium chairs, accommodates 750 people, while art classrooms with floor-to-ceiling glass panels create an inspiring learning environment.
