On October 22 (Germany time), 2018, Sunon's European R&D Center was formally established in Berlin, Germany. 
Wang Weidong, Economic and Commercial Minister Counselor of Chinese Embassy in Germany, Sybille Weimann, project manager of Berlin Partner for Business and Technology, Duan Wei, director general of Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Germany, Mr. Ni Liangzheng, president of Sunon Group, and many other guests gathered in Berlin to attend the unveiling ceremony of Sunon's European R&D Center.
The third Chinese enterprise to establish R&D center in Berlin, Germany
In recent years, building R&D center in Germany has gained popularity among Chinese enterprises, who can, on the one hand, utilize local R&D resources and talents to provide services to Chinese and even global markets, on the other hand, bring investment and jobs to Germany, which in turn increases its regional advantage.
Sybille Weimann, project manager of Berlin Partner for Business and Technology, expressed her warm welcome to Sunon's European R&D Center. She said that Sunon was the third Chinese enterprise to establish R&D center in Berlin, Germany after State Grid Corporation of China and CRRC Corporation Limited, and hoped that Sunon could expand Sino-Europe cooperation with its brand.
There's no shortcut to globalization
The establishment of Sunon European R&D Center is an important step for Sunon's upgrading of technological innovation as well as global market development.
Wang Weidong, Economic and Commercial Minister Counselor of Chinese Embassy in Germany appreciated Sunon's focus on furniture industry, its perseverance in in-depth development and sustainable innovation, and its meticulous attention to product quality.
Wang Weidong said that there was no shortcut for Chinese enterprises to globalization, and only by focusing on R&D, accumulating resources and experience and forming sustainable innovative capacity, can one be recognized by market, especially by the more mature European and American market.
Upgrade brand to embark on the new journey to globalization
European R&D Center is Sunon's stronghold in Europe, which will help Sunon break the regional limit, integrate quality R&D resources in Europe, and win competitive edge in global market.
Duan Wei, director general of Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Germany, believed that Sunon's ideology and philosophy were worth learning. He put that in order to gain presence in global market, enterprises should constantly promote their product R&D and innovative capacity, and upgrade their brands.

Unveiling Ceremony of Sunon's European R&D Center
Sunon's European R&D Center is formally established. We plan to recruit more European talents in management and design, and from a R&D team with Sunon staffs in Germany. We will explore the development direction and trend of office furniture and improve our design and innovative capacity as well as global service capacity.
After the ceremony, Mr Ni Liangzheng and responsible person of European R&D Center accepted both domestic and foreign media's interview.
